Team Management
Invite team members, assign roles, and collaborate on security assessments.
Overview
Team management is available on Pro and Team plans (Starter is limited to 1 seat). Navigate to the Team page in your dashboard to view, invite, and manage team members.
Inviting Team Members
To invite a new team member:
- Go to the Team page
- Enter their name, email, and select a role
- Click "Invite"
- They receive an email with a setup link to create their password
If the person already has a SecPortal account, they're added directly and receive a notification email instead of a setup link.
Roles & Permissions
SecPortal has four roles with increasing levels of access:
Full control over everything:billing, settings, team management, and all data. The person who created the workspace is the owner.
Everything except billing and workspace settings. Can invite/remove team members and change roles for Members and Viewers.
Day-to-day work:create and edit clients, engagements, findings, documents, and invoices. Cannot manage team or delete clients/engagements.
Read-only access. Can view all data but cannot create, edit, or delete anything. Useful for stakeholders who need visibility.

Changing Roles
Owners can change any team member's role. Admins can change roles for Members and Viewers but cannot change other Admins or the Owner. Use the role dropdown on the Team page next to each member.
Removing Members
Owners and Admins can remove team members. When a member is removed, they lose access to the workspace. If they were the only member, a new personal workspace is created for them automatically.
